This is 2022 a year when MunyaxEco is celebrating 9 years anniversary of selling, and installing environmentally friendly and high-quality products at an extremely competitive price, Women and youth empowerment, and social impact.

While celebrating this anniversary we have a lot to be grateful for, one of the achievements after a rigorous screening and evaluation process, Our CEO Francine MUNYANEZA has been selected among the Top 20 Africa’s Business Heroes Finalists from the 21,000 submissions received from all 54 African countries and we hope to be among top 3 for the semi-final which will be held a place at KIGALI – Rwanda.

Pilot project Solar Cold Chain

• According to 2020 data from the FAO, between 40%  to 60% of food products in subsaharien Africa perish before arriving in the consumer market. It is in this regard that Munyaxeco is implementing the first solar cold room in Kamonyi at cooperative Coamaleka . The objective of this project is to provide a smart solar cold chain affordable for farmers’ cooperatives in the horticulture value chain.

CANA CHALLENGE PROGRAM;

• An initiative called CANA CHALLENGE launched by Rwanda Development Bank (BRD) seeks to provide solar home systems to families in the first Ubudehe category(Ubudehe1), MUNYAXECO has played a great role in the implementation of this program which has light up more than 1300 homes since January in 3 districts, NGORORERO, KAMONYI, and KAYONZA.

For other information, MUNYAXECO has extended their branch upcountry in RUBAVU district at Gisenyi, this will facilitate us to reach our clients in DRC and Western Province.
