Call for Applications: Integrated Agriculture & Cold Chain Coach
We are seeking a practical Agronomist and Business Coach to support our member companies operating in the Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) for Agri-Food Value Chains.
The consultant will help identify suitable opportunities for solar-powered cold rooms in Rwanda, ensure their effective operation after installation, and support customers in increasing their incomes. The assignment will also focus on developing affordable, commercially viable cold-chain business models.
About the Consultancy
Duration: 6 – 9 months
Approach: A combination of fieldwork and remote coaching aligned with key agricultural cycles.
Reporting: The consultant will work closely with the technical and commercial teams of participating companies and report directly to their CEOs.
Who Should Apply?
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
A degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a closely related field.
At least five years of practical experience in fresh-produce value chains, post-harvest management, cold-chain operations, market access, or improving customer incomes.
Strong proficiency in English, Kinyarwanda.
