As part of the China – Africa Sustainable Renewable Energy Investment and Financing Partnership, our CEO Serge Wilson MUHIZI represented Association during a strategic renewable energy connectivity and investment promotion tour in China.
Key discussions centered on:
✅ Strengthening renewable energy supply chains to improve access to quality technologies across African markets.
✅ Expanding capacity-building initiatives to equip technicians and engineers with the skills needed to support emerging renewable energy technologies.
✅ Enhancing financing mechanisms and investment partnerships to address barriers faced by project developers and MSMEs.
✅ Improving distribution networks and market linkages to accelerate technology deployment and business growth.

The tour included a productive meeting with the Embassy of Rwanda in Beijing, focused on strengthening future support mechanisms for South-South collaboration and unlocking opportunities for deeper cooperation between Africa and China.
These engagements reaffirm the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing renewable energy access, industrial development, and sustainable economic growth across Africa.
We extend our sincere appreciation to World Resources Institute (WRI) China, and the China Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA) for their invaluable support and commitment to fostering practical cooperation between Africa and China.

Together, we are building stronger partnerships for a sustainable and energy-secure future.
