Who We Are

Dear Potential Stakeholders,

I am here today to talk to you about the energy sector association, EPD (Energy Private Developers) and the important work we do to promote sustainable and reliable energy solutions. As we all know, the energy sector is a key contributor to climate change and the impacts of global warming are becoming increasingly evident. The need for clean and sustainable energy solutions has never been greater, and Energy private developers have been playing since its establishment in 2014 a significant role  in meeting this challenge.

At our Association, we are committed to develop sustainable energy projects that promote a low-carbon future. Our projects are designed to meet the needs of communities and businesses, while also contributing to the global effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We work closely with policymakers (Government), industry leaders, development partners and other stakeholders to advocate for policies and promote sustainable energy practices and investments.

Our programs and initiatives have had a significant impact on the energy landscape, in Rwanda, in our Region and in Africa from promoting renewable energy sources to support energy conservation and efficiency. Our previous projects led to the creation of jobs, empowering women in renewable energy, support economic growth, and build stronger and more resilient communities.

We need the support from partners and funders with a similar vision. We are convinced that our joint effort will add a stone towards the sustainable development goals and the commitments of the Paris Agreement.

We are committed to be a responsible steward of your commitment, and we will work tirelessly to deliver the results that we promise. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for all.
