Serge Wilson MUHIZI
Serge Wilson MUHIZI boasts a decade-long career marked by expertise in sales, marketing, and the energy sector. With four years of foundational experience in sales and marketing across diverse companies, he seamlessly transitioned into a dedicated seven-year tenure in the energy industry. During this journey, he served as an Energy Project Analyst for four years, significantly contributing to the success of numerous energy projects in the private sector. His exceptional performance propelled him into the role of Head of Membership and Partnership for two years, where he fostered strategic alliances within the Rwandan and regional energy sectors.
Currently, as Chief Executive Officer at EPD (Energy Private Developers), Serge oversees a network of 150+ companies spanning various energy sub-sectors, championing their interests and fostering a conducive business environment. His commitment to the energy sector is underlined by ongoing training in climate finance, access to the carbon market, and the evaluation of renewable energy programs from different stakeholders in the Energy Sector. Serge’s journey commenced with an academic internship at the Rwanda Development Board, igniting his passion for promoting small business growth. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA, complemented by a Capacity Building Program for Research on Natural Resources and Energy in South Korea. . He also pursued basic leadership courses at the Institute of National Transformation (INT).
Serge excels in project management, from conception to execution and feedback. His unwavering commitment to excellence, extensive skills, and boundless dedication continue to drive positive change in the energy sector and beyond.

Sosthene MUBERA
Mr. Sosthene MUBERA holds Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from China-Shanghai Tongji University , Sosthene Mubera founded Kolmena Group ltd to provide green solutions in building industry which he has extensive knowledge in as a civil engineer. He developed solar water heating technology in residential and commercial buildings. In 2021 he joined EPD and lead his company in Rwanda National Electrification program. In July 2023 he was elected chairman of Solar sub sector in Rwanda
Head of Hydro-Power Sub-Sector
Andrew Mbangukira
Andrew MBANGUKIRA is a Chair person of hydro subsector and holds Master’s Degree of science in Energy Economics from University of Rwanda College of science & Technology former (KIST), Attained his Bachelors degree of Business Administration with Honors Degree in Finance and his upper level secondary school and primary certificates were attained from Uganda.
He has over 11 years of working experience in project management and business development where he served on different top level management positions in different public and private institution with experience in banking sector. He has been in energy sector where he is serving as project manager with supper experience in project development, operation and maintenance of hydro power projects.
Andrew was published in the official GAZETTE No. Special of 11/02/2022 and Ministerial Order No 011/MoE/22 of 31/01/2022 appointing him as a member of the Technical committee to Rwanda Water Resource Board in the management, operation and maintenance without forgetting proper and efficient use of all Dams in Rwanda.

Richard Mori
Richard Mori is co-founder and CEO of MeshPower, an energy solutions company which provides affordable electricity to off-grid communities, high quality solar systems to industry, clean cooking technologies and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. With expertise in engineering and over a decade of experience in renewable enegy, he has helped drive development of decentralized energy systems, contributing to social empowerment and economic growth in underserved areas.

Jean Claude Uwizeye
Jean-Claude Uwizeye is an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at TECNOVERDE Ltd and Managing Partner at Clean Energy Technologies Ltd, bringing over two decades of expertise in the fields of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Construction Project Management, and Renewable Energy Development. His remarkable journey has been marked by transformative contributions to the productive utilization of renewable energies, technology transfer, and innovations across Rwanda, East and Western Africa.
He has been instrumental in advancing the frontiers of renewable energy. He has provided invaluable consultancy services to esteemed international organizations such as SNV, UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNEP, IFAD, SIDA, WfP, HIVOS, and W4G. His guidance has spanned areas encompassing program design, project management, and capacity enhancement in productive use renewable energies (PURE), Bio-energy and Pico hydro technologies.

Ehudi Shingiro
Eng. Ehudi Shingiro, Managing Partner at SFS Consultancy LTD; is member to Institution of Engineers Rwanda & Chairperson for the EPD/Clean Cooking Sub-sector. With Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, brings a strong foundation in e-cooking and bio-methane. His diverse experience spans from designing & supervising projects that prioritize environmental conservation. He is skilled in negotiations, training, and coaching for industry standards to ensure Sustainability. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise to contribute to resilient EPD, fostering growth. He is eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals to tackle complex challenges in clean cooking in Rwanda and beyond.

Allen Munganyinka
Allen Munganyinka is a professional Project coordinator with five years of experience in the Rwandan energy sector. She has successfully contributed in the conception of various hydro and solar projects. Allen is the President and a co-Founder of POWERHer Rwanda, an autonomous network that empowers women and promotes self-awareness in Rwanda’s energy sector. Allen is passionate about changing gender preconceptions and striving to bridge the gender gap, unlock women’s potential by empowering them to build self-awareness, gender inclusion in energy related professions, and overcoming gender-related challenges.
Head of E-Mobility Sub-Sector
Donald Kabanda
Donald has cross-cutting experience from government to the private industry, as well as international organisations since 2003. He served in the United Nations (UN) for three years as an international Peacekeeper, overseeing training and project development in the Republic of Sudan.
He returned to the commercial world in 2014 as Managing Director of ForeFront Ltd and in 2017, and joined Jali Transport Company as General Manager to oversee public transport services to the City of Kigali. He is the chairman Board of Directors for Jali Transport Ltd, and also a member of the Internal Audit Commit for Rwanda National Police.
Donald holds a Master’s degree (MBA) from Oklahoma Christian University (USA), a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management (Now University of Rwanda), and trained in Project Management at the Maastricht School of Management in The Netherlands.
